Valle Ascencio

After a steady climb up from Hosteria Las Torres you hit this lovely view of Valle Ascencio. Rio Ascencio runs through the center of the picture and you can even see Albergue Chileno on the right side of the river (look for where the trail drops down to the level of the river). The Refugio was an hour and a half hike from Hosteria Torres.
