More fresh snow as my reward for 2 straight days of rain and wind. From what I heard this turned out to be the first fresh snow in several months and it clearly added to the beauty of the Horns (los Cuernos).
Even more hopeful were the blue skies. After those 2 fruitless, and extremely wet, days at Refugio Pehoe I was praying for good weather. The following day, was in fact spectacular and I was finally able to toss the "Sad Photographer" name tag I had acquired at Refugio Pehoe. (I literally had a paper sign that Vincente, the incredibly kind manager, had made for me.)
While los Cuernos are visible from a great many locations in the park this particular shot was taken from the top deck of the Lago Pehoe ferry.
